Monday Night RAW Live Updates

Welcome to live updates from Monday Night RAW...

Opening Segment
Alberto del Rio is out first, announced to the ring by Ricardo Rodriguez.  A video package reviews his beating of Rey Mysterio last week.  Cena comes out immediately as del Rio begins his catchphrase.  He introduces himself to del Rio as the guy that's going to take the WWE title from him.  Cena says he's going to whip del Rio's ass.  CM Punk comes out.  Punk says that he's beaten Cena twice and that he deserves a title shot, before Cena.  Punk claims that somebody wants "Berto" to be champion really bad.  Both Cena and Punk claim that they will use their rematch clauses against Alberto del Rio tonight for the WWE championship.  Del Rio says it won't happen in front of these "Canadians".  Triple H makes his way to the ring.  He says that del Rio will be in a match next.  Triple H says that del Rio will defend his championship at Night of Champions against the winner of tonight's main event, CM Punk vs. John Cena.

Alberto del Rio vs. John Morrison
John Morrison is del Rio's opponent.  R-Truth will probably interfere and screw over Morrison?  A lot of back and forth between Morrison and del Rio until Morrison jumps through the ropes to the outside onto del Rio.  Del Rio throws Morrison into the barricade and we go to commercial.  Back from commercial and they're back in the ring with some back and forth.  Morrison launches del Rio out of the ring and onto the floor.  Morrison goes for the pin and gets a two count.  Del Rio catches Morrison with a nice back suplex and a bridge for a two count.  Lots of near falls.  A bit of a botch on a great reversal into a DDT by Morrison.  Morrison almost catches Del Rio again, this time with a hurricanrana.  Morrison hits his kick from the ropes but then misses Starship Pain.  Del Rio locks in the arm bar and Morrison taps.
Winner: Alberto del Rio

Eve Torres vs. Nicki Bella up next.

Eve Torres vs. Nicki Bella
Kelly Kelly and Brie Bella are ringside.  A video promo of Beth Phoenix and Natalya airs, continuing their storyline.  Will we see some interference from them?  A lot of standard diva maneuvering, until Eve hits a neckbreaker for the clean win.
Winner: Eve Torres

Kelly hits her finisher on the other Bella.  Sure enough, Beth Pheonix and Natalya make their way out for a bit of a stare-down with Eve and Kelly.

Kevin Nash is shown walking backstage.

Back from commercial, Slam of the Week is the Swagger vs. Riley match from last week.  Vickie Guerrero comes out and introduces her "potential new client",  Jack Swagger.  It looks like she's ditched Dolph Ziggler.  Alex Riley awaits in the ring, in squash position?

Jack Swagger vs. Alex Riley
The match begins, and Ziggler comes out to exchange words with Vickie.  It gets slightly physical and Vickie gets pushed to the ground.  Riley takes advantage of the distraction and rolls up Swagger for the win, despite his lack of an entrance.
Winner: Alex Riley

Triple H is shown backstage as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial, Triple H makes his way to the ring.  He says that he has spoken with Kevin Nash, and for transparency's sake, he invites Nash out to the ring.  A "Diesel" chant ensues.  Triple H wants Nash to confirm to everybody that there is no conspiracy between the two of them against Punk.  Nash says there's no conspiracy, but asks Triple H to let him "be a man"...  Triple H says that Nash doesn't work there, so he can't call out Punk.  Triple H asks Nash to leave.  Punk's music hits and he comes out.  He's wondering who sent the "mysterious" text message to Nash to take him out at Summerslam.  Punk accuses Stephanie McMahon of sending the message.  Punk is great on the mic and the crowd chants his name.  Punk says he's going to kick Nash's ass.  Triple H gets in the way and Punk goes off on him.  Triple H threatens him back.  Punk says Triple H keeps his balls in his wife's purse, and Nash hits Punk in the head before Triple H takes Nash to the back.

Tag Team belts on the line!

Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne vs. Daniel Otunga and Michael McGillicutty
Prediction: title change right now.  Kingston with the Trouble in Paradise, Bourne follows with Air Bourne.
AND THE BROS ARE RIGHT.
NEW WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne

Back from commercial, and Zack Ryder and other celebrate with the new tag champs.
John Laurinaitis tells Triple H that Nash has been in a car accident.  Triple H leaves and puts Laurinaitis in charge.

We're back from commercial and Santino Marella comes out, only to be decimated from behind by the Miz and R-Truth.  Truth tells everyone to shut up.  Truth says that there's still a conspiracy within the WWE.  He get in the Miz's face and tells him that the WWE isn't about him.  Miz says that he main-evented Wrestlemania, but now he's been buried by Triple H.  Miz says that he and R-Truth are sick of not getting opportunities, so they're just going to take them.

Main Event: CM Punk vs. John Cena
Official Bros prediction: Laurenaitis, Nash, and Stephanie McMahon screw Punk out of the match.
Lots of great wrestling back and forth, and the crowd is really into it.  Cena throws Punk to the outside and we go to commercial.  Back from commercial and a lot of teased finishers and reversals until Cena locks Punk into the CRIPPLER CROSSFACE.  Punk gets out of it.  Cena kicks out of the GTS!  Punk goes for the Randy Savage elbow but misses.  Cena hits his leg drop from the top rope and Punk kicks out.  Punk hits a flying knee and Cena kicks out.  Punk kicks out of the Attitude Adjustment.  Lots of back and forth in a wild match.  Punk hits a huge kick to the head and calls for the GTS.  Nash comes out on the mic and calls out Punk.  Cena hits the Attitude Adjustment off the distraction and beats Punk.
Winner and New #1 Contender: John Cena

Del Rio immediately attacks Cena.  Laurenaitis comes in to break it up.  Del Rio breaks free and hits Cena with the belt.  RAW goes off the air.
